The Story Behind the Review

The Finseth Review began in 2011 as a medical student project at The Ohio State University — a mission to build a more concise, efficient neurology shelf prep tool. It became an underground success, spreading student-to-student via shared PDFs across the country.

In 2025, the review was reimagined as a full app with revised content, new questions, and features like easy-access browsing and interactive quizzing — all in a clean, cross-platform experience.

Primary Goal Prepare you for the Clinical Neurology NBME "Shelf" Exam and the Neurology portion of USMLE Step 2
Content Focus Common problems, emergent conditions, and pathognomonic clinical syndromes — the three categories most heavily tested
Content Currency Diagnostic workup and treatment plans updated as of March 2025; always refer to medical references when treating patients
